Each individual team member in our firm is individually involved in “giving back” to the greater good in a manner that is important and personal to them. As a team, however, we decided to select and sponsor three The Capital Chart Room LTD® firm charities that, as a team, we can support with our prayers, financially, and in any other manner that we can to help further their missions. Our firm charities are Opportunity International, Arise Rwanda Ministries and Crown Financial Ministries.
As a firm, we are supporting them financially with profits that would otherwise go into our team member’s Revenue Sharing and Profit Bonus Plan, which we believe underlines our belief in, and commitment to, the mission of these terrific organizations.
We chose Opportunity International because, like The Capital Chart Room LTD®, they work with business owners. Unlike The Capital Chart Room LTD®, they provide (micro) financial services to the poorest of the world’s poor to help them, as entrepreneurs / business owners, work their way out of poverty and ultimately to transform their lives, the lives of their family members, and in many cases of their communities in general.
Opportunity International provides a “hand up”, not a “hand out” and as a result achieve amazing transformation among their clients. Opportunity International is also the largest Christian based organization in the area of micro financial services. They provide their services to “all faiths and no faith” as their response to Christ’s call to serve the poor.

We chose Arise Rwanda Ministries because they believe that the most effective way to build sustainability and prosperity is to focus holistically on individual communities through education, clean water, community development, and micro enterprises. Its vision, mission, and motivation is based on the call of Jesus Christ to serve others.
Since 2011, Arise Rwanda Ministries has focused its efforts and resources on the community of Boneza in the Western Province of Rwanda. Located on the shores of Lake Kivu, Boneza’s villagers are primarily agrarian tending their personal gardens for their family food as well as larger plots of tea, coffee, bananas, and potatoes for trade.
The beautiful region is rich in human resources but underdeveloped in the areas of education, clean and safe water, economic development, and essential infrastructure. ARM’s mission is to work with community leaders in identifying priorities to build hope, health, and sustainable progress for the people of Boneza.
